What motivates you?

I get to come to work every day to help people better their lifestyles and educate them in the health and fitness space with training and nutrition. I also love learning different things so I can apply that to my clients. You never stop learning in this industry, and that's what motivates me to become a better PT/coach.

What are you most proud of that you have achieved with clients??

I am most proud of the results my clients have made in such a short amount of time. I love how consistent they are with training and nutrition and I love how they trust me to get them the results they have been seeking for.

Who inspires you?

When I'm not training clients I am always listening to a podcast or educating myself on techniques of training by top educated coaches in the industry and those types of people are who truly inspire me to keep aiming to be the best.

What do you love about your job?

I love that I get to help people physically and mentally, reminding them they are stronger than what they think they are and creating healthy lifestyle habits not only for the time we work with them but for the rest of their lives and I find that so rewarding. I also love seeing their accomplished faces at the end of their session,I feel very grateful to be a part of their fitness journey.

Favourite lift?

From years of lifting, lower body is by far my favourite day to train which is why the Barbell Hip-Thrust is my favourite exercise because it targets the glutes and is so beneficial for building more strength, power in any other movements in your training! Everyone should try hip-thrusting!!!!

Where did your fitness journey start?

My fitness journey began at the age of 15. I have always been an active person ever since primary school and high school but doing athletics and other school events wasn't really my thing for the long term until I discovered the gym.

Walking into a gym was so terrifying for me, I didn't know what I was doing, always following my friends workouts and always searching for different workouts people would do on youtube and Instagram. But as I got more experienced in the gym and more knowledgeable this became a passion of mine, to not only work on myself but a mental release from what was going on outside of the gym. I saw the massive effect going to the gym had on me mentally and physically and I have loved it ever since. From going to the gym at such a young age I knew what I wanted to be when I left school and that was to be a PT. I have always wanted to work with people but didn't know in what area until I saw personal trainers helping people. And seeing their faces of accomplishment and happiness I knew this job would be for me. Ever since then I have always gone after my dream of being a PT.

Favourite supplement?

I get asked if I take any supplements and I always say protein powder - it helps me reach my protein target each day, I supplement with creatine also.
